Here in Virginia Beach, our volunteer crews are extraordinary, and we are lucky to have such generous, concerned citizens. Besides the Virginia Beach Volunteer Rescue Squad and the other nine squads in the city, Virginia Beach has Special Operations Teams of volunteers. They include:

Virginia Beach pays for your training when you take the EMT course through the city at the Fire & EMS Training Center. As part of our dedicated community education efforts, the Virginia Beach Volunteer Rescue Squad offers our community free CPR and First Aid training at our stations.
